Coral Sports Review & Free Bet

When thinking of UK bookmakers, Coral instantly springs to mind to betting fans. Founded in 1926, Coral has been at the front of British betting for a very long time, along with other companies such as Bet365 and Betfred. Coral is up there with the best when it comes to sport betting so for those who are sports fans I would definitley suggest having a look at Coral as they have plenty of choices to bet on, including various sports events. In 2004 Coral launched their online website which was then followed up by a mobile phone app which became available to both IOS and Android users. In 2016 long time rivals Ladbrokes merged with Coral and created the ‘Ladbrokes Coral Group”. At the end of 2016 it was announced that Coral had a revenue of £1.508 billion.

Website Layout:

In my opinion, the Coral website is well laid out. On the left side all the sports are displayed along the side in a column format. Right on the middle of the page at the top are all the events and the offers/bonuses that come with them if you place a bet. At the top of the page there are multiple tabs for the user to choose from, some of which are ‘In Play’, ‘Live Casino’, and ‘Gaming’. At the bottom of the page all the payment methods which are accepted by Coral are displayed, along with the ‘help’ and “contact us” tabs. On the right side of the page there are tabs for the user to ‘Join Now’ or ‘Log in’.

Coral’s main colour is dark blue which is shown all throughout the website, there are also hints of yellow, green, red and white too. The main body of the website is blue with white text and the adverts/promotions page are multicolored, including green and red. The ‘log in’ and ‘join now’ options are highlighted in green and yellow, I personally feel this was done to catch the attention of the user as they are bright colours and can easily be missed if they were not highlighted in a noticeable colour.

Coral are one of the best betting companies if we are talking about markets. The choices of sports and different gaming options available truly are fantastic. There is in play betting, live casinos, sports betting, poker, bingo, and more. Along with the different types of games available, there is also a great range of sports available for users to bet on, these include Football, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Baseball, Boxing, Cricket, Curling, Formula 1, Golf, Darts, Hockey, Horse Racing, Handball and Greyhound racing.

In Play Betting:

On the home page, the third tab is ‘IN-PLAY’, if the user clicks on this then they will be led to the ‘in play’ page where they have the option to place a bet on a game that has already started. Once on that page, all the live games and different sports are shown, with their odds displayed right next to them.

Welcome Bonus:

Coral are well known for their offers and promotions and users will see this when they are on the website. As soon as the user enters the homepage of Coral, there will be many ads which are promoting offers and promotions available to take advantage of.  There are always exclusive offers for new customers and this is one of the reasons they are so successful, because of the amount of people that want to take advantage of these great offers. Despite gaining popularity with their new customer offers, Coral also take care of their existing customers and ensure that they have promotions in which they can participate in too. The most common welcome bonuses are, “Get £20 in free bets when you bet £5”. Another popular one is “Enhanced each-way on selected Horse racing”. To make things better, there is even a ‘promotions’ page on the website which shows every single offer and promotion that coral have available to their customers.

Payment Methods/Client Support:

Being one of the UK’s top betting companies, Coral ensure that they provide the best service for their customers and this is also the case with the payment methods. All popular and commonly used methods of payments are accepted, these are, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro and also E – Wallets, which include, Neteller, Skrill, GBGA and PayPal. Coral are known for their good customer service so with this being said, they have provided a few options for their customers to use if they need to contact the company if there are any issues. These are, a 24/7 live chat, Twitter and Facebook page as well as a free customer support phone line which is open from 8am – 22:00 every day.

Coral has always been one of my personal favorites in terms of online sports betting and I still feel the same. A great website has been provided for customers which is easy to use and has a nice elegant look about it. The website is also great to navigate, and everything is displayed clearly so the user knows where to go without getting confused. The colour scheme is bright and refreshing and the ads/promotions are not too big. Another bonus about Coral is the fact that they have an online app too, some online betting companies do not provide an app which can be disappointing because of the inconvenience caused. I personally do not find anything wrong with what I have seen from Coral, if I was to suggest an improvement I would say that it may be better to stick with 1 or 2 colours rather than 4 or 5 like Coral have done, this is just a personal preference and I still rate Coral very highly.
